About Us
RNAway is developing the next generation of RNA-based products for crop protection and crop improvement, without modifying the plant’s genome.
Our delivery platform enables targeted treatments against pests and diseases and opens new opportunities to improve plant performance. Applications include spraying, irrigation and seed coating, allowing products to fit existing agricultural practices. By helping protect yields and reduce reliance on conventional chemical treatments, we aim to make agriculture more productive and sustainable.
Backed by BASF Venture Capital, Copia, ICA and ZORA, RNAway works with agricultural companies including Yara and BASF to develop products addressing specific crop and market needs.
Our lead grapevine treatment has received regulatory approval for multi-year field trials in New Zealand, starting in November 2026, alongside a validation program in South Africa. Additional programs span potato applications, soybean seed treatment and insect control.
Our business model combines paid product development with future licensing and commercial partnerships. We are raising our next financing round to expand our product pipeline and accelerate commercialization.
