About Us
Current fertigation practices are imprecise, leading to fertilizer overuse, high plant stress and environmental damage. The lack of knowledge leads to farmers regarding the soil as a bucket and pouring fertilizer in using a one-fit-all solution. With current fertigation practices over 50% of fertilizer leeches into the ground that leads to GHG emissions and water contamination.
Our solution of the problem consists of:
1. A fertigation system that applies our innovative fertigation technique
2. Soil and plant sensors to monitor the plant needs
3. A control algorithm that automates the process and changes fertilizer output based on the field needs
This increases fertilizer absorption and has a dramatic effect on yield (POC have shown 30%-70% increase).
Overall, there is a reduction in the amount of input resources and a reduction in the amount of fertilizer that leeches into the ground.
