McyFiber is a climate-tech company developing natural, biodegradable bio-additives to replace synthetic chemicals used in paper production. Our patented formulation—based on mycelium and cellulose nanofibers—enhances paper strength, printability, and surface quality while reducing reliance on fossil-based and environmentally harmful additives.
The paper industry is among the most energy-intensive industrial sectors, with a significant carbon footprint and substantial downstream environmental impact. McyFiber’s solution directly reduces emissions by optimizing production processes and lowering chemical consumption, without requiring changes to existing industrial infrastructure.
Beyond production, our additive also improves sustainability across the product lifecycle. Its biodegradable and non-toxic composition minimizes the environmental burden of wastewater treatment and reduces the ecological impact of end-of-life disposal, including landfill emissions and sludge handling.
Following successful lab-scale validation, we are now launching pilot trials in partnership with a global paper manufacturer. Our business model is based on B2B technology licensing, enabling rapid adoption of climate-friendly materials by major producers.
