About Us
Urban flooding causes over $82 billion in damages worldwide each year. Today, municipalities rely on static risk maps, forcing them to react only after a flood hits. Hydrocycle solves this with FloodOS, a dynamic decision support system built for municipalities, mayors, and first responders.
FloodOS creates a digital twin of a city’s water infrastructure, coupling underground pipe networks with surface topography, to replace static maps with real-time hydrological intelligence. By running live sensor and weather data against its predictive simulations, the system provides precise “Time-to-Action” metrics. Instead of just showing water levels, FloodOS generates tactical playbooks – telling city officials exactly what to close, open, or dispatch before the flood arrives, shifting them from reactive disaster management to proactive climate resilience.
