About Us

Voltcore is a smart-materials and climate-tech startup developing a new generation of heating materials based on conductive polymer filament. By embedding conductive nanoparticles into a polymer matrix, Voltcore produces ultra-thin, flexible, and recyclable filaments that replace the metal wires used in conventional heating, delivering fast, directional (infrared) heat with lower energy consumption.
Heating accounts for roughly half of global final energy use, the largest end-use sector, ahead of transportation, so more efficient heating materials offer a significant lever on energy demand and CO₂ emissions. Unlike boilers, electric heaters, or metal-wire systems, Voltcore’s polymer filament radiates heat immediately, can be directed to the surfaces that need it, and is designed for recyclability at end of life.
The filament’s broad conductivity range makes it adaptable across many applications: from automotive and mobility (seat warmers, battery and surface heating) to construction and renovation, textiles and heated clothing, and de-icing systems. Voltcore runs its own industrial filament production and is scaling toward full application development and manufacturing.
