About Us
greenLi is commercializing two complementary technologies that together condense the lithium supply chain into a single, on-site “brine-to-battery” process, and can also be deployed independently as bolt-on modules to existing mines and lithium-extraction facilities.
Membrane Lithium Extraction (MLE): a reagent-free, membrane-based direct lithium extraction (DLE) method built around a patent-pending, high-performance lithium-selective membrane deployed in conventional membrane-filtration hardware. Agnostic to the lithium source, MLE enriches any aqueous resource: from salar and geothermal brines to refinery wastewater and even seawater, into a highly enriched lithium permeate for downstream processing, lifting recovery from a typical 25–50% to over 80% while cutting OpEx by around 40% and chemical use by up to 95%.
Direct Cathode Manufacture (DCM): a patent-pending, mechano-electrochemical process that manufactures battery-ready cathode nanoparticles directly from an enriched lithium permeate. Agnostic to cathode chemistry (LFP, NMC, LMFP), DCM lets owners of lithium assets vertically integrate down the supply chain and capture the far higher value of the final cathode product rather than selling low-value intermediary salts.
greenLi is a spin-out from Prof. Mamane’s laboratory at Tel Aviv University, backed by the Earth & Beyond Ventures deeptech incubator and SUM Ventures.
