PhenOlives is an agri-foodtech company transforming olive oil production by-products into high-value, food-grade ingredients through a patented circular industrial process. The technology is integrated directly at olive oil mills, where it stabilizes the fresh olive side-streams at source and separates them into valuable fractions instead of leaving them as a costly, underutilized burden: today, only about 15% of the olive becomes oil, while the remaining 85% is discarded as environmentally damaging waste.
PhenOlives’ primary commercial product is Olive Flour, a gluten-free functional ingredient naturally rich in dietary fiber and antioxidants. Additional outputs include olive seeds and polyphenol-rich streams with potential applications across food, nutrition, and other industries.
By creating value from multiple olive by-product streams, PhenOlives improves resource efficiency, reduces the environmental impact of olive oil production, and supports a more circular food system.
