About Us

TireTrone is developing a new pyrolysis solution for end-of-life tires that eliminates the need for shredding, significantly reducing both capital and operating costs compared to conventional pyrolysis systems. The process recovers oil, metal, and carbon black from waste tires, turning a hard-to-manage waste stream into marketable products.
The company was formed through the Epsilon Climate venture studio by a team of four: two chemistry PhDs with hands-on industry experience, a former government official focused on large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy projects, and a co-founder with experience across startups and corporates. TireTrone has completed a successful technology validation test and received Tnufa grant approval from the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA).
