Diamond-charging is a start-up company that developed automatic charging devices for electric buses and trucks. These electro-mechanical devices are patent-pending. The aim is to reduce the cost of electric trucks and buses dramatically by cutting the size of their batteries by 50%. Other benefits are adding useful load (or passengers) by reducing the weight of the batteries. These devices are mandatory for autonomous transportation in the future. Other benefits are enhancing safety, gaining valuable area in depots, and saving personnel which handles the charging in manual plug-in charging.
