We’re Scarecrow, an agri-tech company building the next generation of plant protection tools. Our mission is to help growers and agronomists make better crop treatment decisions using real-time data, reduce reliance on unnecessary chemicals, and improve yields in a sustainable way.
At the heart of Scarecrow is a smart plant protection platform that combines field-deployed pest traps, environmental sensors, remote image inspection, and a mobile app tailored for field professionals like PCAs and inspectors. These tools feed into our decision-support system, which analyzes pest pressure and treatment history to generate timely, field-specific recommendations—what to spray, where, and when. Just as importantly, we measure treatment outcomes, helping farmers know what actually works.
We’ve already built a strong presence in Israel, covering over 100,000 acres, working with thousands of growers and hundreds of inspectors, and engaging more than 50% of the country’s expert agronomists. We’re now expanding in the U.S. with pilots underway in California alongside Helena, one of the largest agricultural distributors in the country.
