Kayama Foods is an early-stage startup, established in 2023.
We are offering food manufacturers a healthy, sustainable and cost-efficient alternative to saturated fats at zero compromise.
Our technology breaks down the connection between the solid structure of fat to its degree of saturation, allowing us to “convert” healthy unsaturated & locally available oils, such as: sunflower, canola, soy, to a fully functional solid “fat”.
Using our fat in food applications can reduce up to 80-90% saturated fat, is cholesterol free, clean label, e-free, and contains no hydrogenated or trans fat.
It is also free of unsustainable tropical oils such as palm, cocoa, or coconut.
